Lo ha dichiarato Salvatore Santangelo, capo Ufficio Stampa dell'Inps, intervenendo durante la conferenza stampa del presidente dell'Istituto, Gabriele Fava, dedicata al bilancio del Progetto Giovani. "Anche quest'anno - ha spiegato Santangelo - lo stand dell'Inps, grazie alla Direzione centrale Comunicazione e ai colleghi delle sedi territoriali dell'Emilia Romagna, offre servizi di informazione e consulenza a cittadini e utenti. Ma il Meeting è soprattutto un luogo nel quale l'Istituto può sperimentare e mettere a disposizione nuove iniziative". "Due anni fa abbiamo presentato nuovi strumenti per consentire ai giovani, e non solo, di esplorare il proprio futuro previdenziale e acquisire maggiore consapevolezza rispetto al passaggio dalla vita lavorativa alla quiescenza. Lo scorso anno, su impulso del presidente Fava, abbiamo portato al Meeting il confronto con le realtà europee che si occupano di previdenza e welfare: da quella esperienza è nata una progettualità importante, che ha contribuito alla nascita della Direzione centrale Relazioni internazionali". "Quest'anno - ha proseguito - il presidente ha veicolato nuove idee e proposte per affrontare sfide decisive per il Paese, a partire dalla denatalità e dalla necessità di garantire alle nuove generazioni un futuro previdenziale dignitoso". "La conferenza stampa di oggi rappresenta inoltre un esercizio di trasparenza: abbiamo voluto confrontarci con la stampa e tracciare un bilancio delle attività realizzate, verificando concretamente i risultati raggiunti. È un metodo che risponde alla linea indicata dal presidente Fava fin dall'inizio del suo mandato: rendere l'Inps un'Istituzione sempre più aperta, capace di ascoltare, innovare e indicare nuove strade", ha concluso Santangelo.
