With the Jarome Luai and seemingly Alex Johnston signings, and no doubt more similar to come, PNG will clearly be competitive from 2028. Meanwhile Perth have got a load of also-rans signed, and will end up bottom dwellers from 2027 and into 2028. They're being set-up to be the Titans of the West (just with more costs). #NRL #RugbyLeague

I wouldn't the NRL to take control of Rugby League in the UK, but the RFL don't do a great job. Rugby League needs promoting in the Northern hemisphere, including the UK. If the NRL want to help with this, then great. Watching that match last night got me wondering if Sky would use the original arrangement of music for the Paris match with it being 30 years. Then if News Corp had wanted and been allowed to buy PSG, could they have been another Melbourne Storm now? And also if anyone knows anything about where the Dragons/TO Magic match is going to be with it only two months away. #SuperLeague #RugbyLeague

Watching this replay, I didn't know before that Stuart Cummings allowed the first half to go on for a good 25-30 seconds too long - including a kick-off and two tackles - until finally the touch judge got his attention the siren was going off. At least the timekeeper eventually realised what was going on and kept it depressed until finally it was noticed. #SuperLeague #RugbyLeague

If the #NRL don't want to keep dealing with a bye each week - or add a 20th team - once 'Perth' and PNG enter, they can just dump the Titans off. Didn't even take two minutes into it before the 2026 season can be written off. #RugbyLeague
