Agi: L'Iran fissa le sue condizioni, Rezaei consegna il piano di mediazione al Qatar
AGI - Il Segretario del Consiglio supremo per la sicurezza nazionale dell'Iran, Mohsen Rezaei, ha reso noto, in una intervista ad 'Al Jazera', che Teheran ha consegnato al Qatar le condizioni per i negoziati con gli Usa.
L’Iran e la proposta di mediazione al Qatar
Rezaei ha esplicitato le condizioni per la fine della guerra, indicandole come "la fine della guerra su tutti i fronti, lo sblocco dei beni congelati e la fine del blocco navale". In tal senso, Teheran attende una risposta dal Presidente Trump. Il Segretario, inoltre, ha affermato che l'Iran auspica la fine della guerra tra l'Arabia Saudita e gli Houthi yemeniti, aggiungendo di ritenere che anche i ribelli sciiti cerchino un accordo con Riad.
La nuova strategia contro Trump
Per l'alto funzionario "le minacce di Trump non porteranno a nulla e l'Iran è pronto a una guerra decisiva. L'Iran si è convinto della necessità di cambiare la propria strategia nei confronti di Washington in seguito al ritiro degli Stati Uniti dal memorandum d'intesa. Le valutazioni e i calcoli del Presidente statunitense riguardo all'Iran sono errati e la guerra è stata istigata da Netanyahu. L'Iran conosce le vulnerabilità dell'esercito statunitense ed è più preparato che mai a contrastare i suoi attacchi aerei, aggiungendo di aver recentemente testato un missile antinave vicino a una portaerei statunitense".
La difesa di Teheran
L'esponente iraniano ha affermato che "l'Iran prende sul serio la propria difesa e che, in caso di attacco, colpirà con maggiore forza le basi statunitensi e gli interessi di Washington nella regione".

Iran and the Qatar Mediation Proposal
Rezaei outlined the conditions for ending the war, describing them as “the end of the war on all fronts, the unblocking of frozen assets, and the end of the naval blockade.” In this regard, Tehran awaits a response from President Trump. The Secretary also stated that Iran hopes for an end to the war between Saudi Arabia and the Houthi Yemeni rebels, adding that it believes the Shiite rebel group also seeks an agreement with Riyadh.
A New Strategy Against Trump
For the high-ranking official, “Trump’s threats will lead nowhere, and Iran is ready for a decisive war.” Iran has come to believe in the necessity of changing its strategy towards Washington following the United States' withdrawal from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action. The President’s evaluations and calculations regarding Iran are mistaken, and the war was instigated by Netanyahu. Iran knows the vulnerabilities of the US military and is more prepared than ever to counter its air attacks, adding that it recently tested a naval missile near a US aircraft carrier.
