Jalapeno-linked salmonella outbreak sickens hundreds across 27 U.S. states
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Food and Drug Administration said they are investigating a salmonella outbreak linked to jalapeno peppers from Mexico that have sickened 345 people across 27 states and prompted a recall of affected products.
