I hope you all have a great weekend and week. I may not be around next week as we are going on holiday to Stranraer in South West Scotland so I may be busy doing stuff with the in-laws so I'll see you when I next see you all #TOTP #NotTOTP #PSB

I think I’ve run out of superlatives. Thankfully, the show’s just finished :) #TOTP #PSB

That was glorious #PSB #TOTP

Speaking of outrageous camp, here’s IT’S A SIN from 1987. I think this was when young me finally cottoned on to how bloody good PSB were. #TOTP #PSB

Keytar Klaxon! #PSB #TotP

That is a pair of power shoulders on that jacket; bless the 1980s #TOTP #PSB #NotTOTP

… and, somehow, make it completely inclusive at the same time. Astonishing. #TOTP #PSB

Only the Pet Shop Boys could take an outrageously camp song like GO WEST and go “Yeah, not camp enough” and turn it up to eleven. Utterly glorious. #TOTP #PSB

#PSB #petshopboys ( #totp ) What a great night on #bbc4

This whole show is a joy #PSB ( #TOTP )

So, I reckon it should be uncontroversial to say that Neil Tennant is one of the truly great Country Music lyricists despite never having made a Country record. And “You Only Tell Me You Love Me When You’re Drunk” is absolutely the strongest evidence. #TOTP #PSB

Love love love Heart’s hook (hooks?). #TOTP #PSB

I love this video with Ian McKellan as a vampire #TOTP #PSB #Heart

I'm looking forward to seeing this again when we get to 2006 episodes #TOTP #PSB

#totp Liza really suits the #PSB sound

Jake is pretty intense here #TOTP #PSB

@u0421793@toot.pikopublish.ing Neil’s on record about how he didn’t think much of his voice. Couldn’t be more wrong, but I can sort of see where he’s coming from. As they went on, he got more confident and they learned how best to produce his vocals so he ends up sounding immense. #totp #PSB

Got my suburban telly back for the #PSB #TOTP

Top of the Hats (bit late) #TOTP #PSB

@jess@blop.social Also there are a few hours of Pet Shop Boys programmes after the Pops tonight. Not sure I'm enough of a superfan to stay up for all of those as well, but it's looking like a good evening. #TOTP #PetShopBoys #PSB
