Lovely to see that the new Crannog is complete!
Crannogs were iron-age loch-dwellings, found across Scotland 2500 years ago. 18 once existed on Loch Tay, where the Crannog Centre is.
We used to visit the Crannog (replica) every year for halloween so, like so many people, I was gutted when it burnt down in 2021.
Wonderful to see it rebuilt - the first of three. Congratulations to everyone involved!

The world's tallest and longest hedge, the Meikleour Beech Hedge runs alongside and towers over the A93 a few miles south of Blairgowrie in Perthshire. Planted in the autumn of 1745, it has a tragic story to tell. More pics and info: https://www.undiscoveredscotland.co.uk/blairgowrie/meikleourhedge/index.html
