Reports are it is widespread throughout southwestern Ohio. This is a recurring issue. #PaulsAuntBetty has altafiber. I just bought her a home base 4g VoLTE cellular home base with unlimited calling in US for $15 per month. She is 85 years old and wants her cordless phone and not a cell phone. Now, she gets the best of both worlds. Plus, when she comes to visit us overnight, we can just bring her little home base and plug a phone in. I already got her a 4G LTE "cell phone" that only has one button, a big red 911 button, that is a speaker phone and only calls 911. No monthly service fee.

If you see this, and wonder where I am or why I have stopped interacting, things will be back to a new normal as we develop some kind of new routine. Life has been a little disheveled since my brother passed and we now are caring for 85 year old #PaulsAuntBetty, esp my online posting habits and interactions with a lot of my fediverse community, like you. I was just getting back into the groove after having 4 rooms in our home emptied out while the new subfloors were being installed. I've tried to post articles, things that interest me, and might be worthy of sharing and interacting but nothing like my normal. To be honest, I've been off my routine, online and offline, since Penny's heart attack.
