1. Everything my birthday boy did or wanted went his way: 50% off pizza, homecooked favourite meal, company for drinks, #OnlyConnect, new-to-us #BusterKeaton film (I thought I saw all the good films, I hadn't!) 2.. I get intrusive messages that my device can't meet the execrable #GeminiAssistant's requirements, but at least we know the Assistant can't work.
2. Slept beautifully which I define as not staying awake after 4 AM and being well-rested when my eyes open #3GoodThings.

1. Secured a cataract surgery date and a responsible adult to discharge me from hospital post-op recovery. He might have to bring me back for same day surgeon consultation so it's good he lives eight blocks from the hospital.
2. Am gently and comfortably building friendships and reconnecting with newer and longtime local Scrabblers respectively.
3. Scored a peak 40 points playing along with my son watching this week's #OnlyConnect
