We're temporarily pausing the bimonthly open calls with the exception of #NGI Taler & Fediversity. We'll be taking stock of a decade of Next Generation Internet. After the summer the application process will re-open with 3 new programs under the Open Internet Stack (OIS) umbrella.
Ongoing projects are not affected and can continue their important work of providing the building blocks for an open, resilient, and secure internet for all.

We are NLnet foundation. We support organisations and people who contribute to an open internet for all. If you are working on a project that helps fix the internet through open hardware, open software, open standards, open science and open data, we invite you to apply for a grant. We're lead of the @NGIZero coalition which runs several programmes to fund those who are building free and open source technologies for the Next Generation Internet. After an historical contribution to the early internet in Europe in the 1980's, we've been financially supporting the open internet since 1997. We like hex stickers.

As NLnet transitions from #NGI to the Open Internet Stack (OIS), we'll temporarily pause our bimonthly open calls, with the exception of NGI Taler & Fediversity.
In order to take stock of a decade of the Next Generation Internet initiative, we'll halt our open calls. After the summer the regular application process will re-open with 3 new programs under the new #OIS umbrella. Ongoing projects can continue their important work uninterrupted.
