Aðaldalur, #Iceland. I recently spent some time in a summer cottage in #Aðaldalshraun in #NorthernIceland which is a large lavafield about 2000-3500 years old. In some parts it is disappearing in moss and Icelandic birch but in other places it looks remarkably intact.
I also cycled around lake Botnsvatn which is just above the beautiful town of #Húsavík, made famous in the 2020 #Netflix comedy #Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga.
It is quite a beautiful place and amazing to #cycle around.
