Crowds at the US Open and prices soaring, €40 for a salad. New York - The US Open tennis tournament, without Jannik Sinner and with many Italians already eliminated, has entered the competitive phase of the tournament, and the response from New Yorkers has been overwhelming: record attendance at Flushing Meadows facilities and food stands being raided despite prices being, as is tradition, prohibitive: it costs almost forty dollars, about 35 euros, for a salad. US Open, sky-high costs And ten euros for a small box of french fries. But people are willing to do what it takes to order. Many matches are played on the side courts, a situation that favors public attendance thanks to daily tickets. But as the hours pass, the real matches will be held in the central courts, and then witnessing the competition will almost be prohibitive: even now a seat at Arthur Ashe Stadium, in the “crowded” sections, costs over 200 euros. Next week, prices will reach breathtaking levels, even exceeding three thousand dollars. #NewYork #JannikSinner #Italians #NewYorkers #FlushingMeadows #ArthurAsheStadiumhttps://www.agi.it/sport/video/2026-09-04/tennis-us-open-prezzi-38884669/
