The situation at the southern end of the "fortress belt" in Donbas is gradually deteriorating for Ukrainian defenders. Russian troops have reached the entrance to #Oleksiievo_Druzhkivka, effectively cutting the last ground supply route into #Kostyantynivka (marked in green).
➡️Although the Russian soldier shown in the video was likely later captured, the fact that he was able to approach what was once a heavily fortified position along the lifeline to the south says a great deal about the current situation in the area.
➡️At the same time, there are fewer and fewer videos confirming a Ukrainian presence across large parts of Kostyantynivka, leading me to update my map.
🚨As a reminder: yellow/red indicates a greater Russian than Ukrainian presence, but it does not exclude the presence of isolated Ukrainian units in those areas.
