Throwing things and swearing a lot - our son's nurse called from Nanaimo hospital, new patient in his room under 'droplet' protocol and would it be ok for him to wear a mask (as an FYI, hardly anyone masks there) Won't say if it's Covid, but likely 1: Droplet protocol is gaslighting, anything respiratory is aerosol 2: Why isn't that patient isolated? I'm fuming #Covid #Covid19 #Nanaimo #BCpoli

Two older women just wandered down our front path, well into our property and started picking from our blackberry and blueberry patch - like WTAF?! Well dressed Lululemon types thinking it's just fine to trespass and steal our fruit Seen some weird behaviour last few years from people who appear normal, but that was stunningly audacious - total breaking of social norms, and illegal #Nanaimo #BCpoli

The numbers are in! 97 American nurses have moved to #VancouverIsland (31 to #Nanaimo hospital alone) in the last year — with 87 more in the pipeline, thanks in part to the Nanaimo Infusion movement. went on a boat to see a man about a boat and an espresso maker that is like a family heirloom 😆 (my dad is selling his live aboard and I got a text that it might be now or never so now it is!😂 ) did I mention I am now heading to Victoria to grad the son flying in from Ottawa at 10PM and then turn around and get back home by..... 1AM? 😆 the things we do for family!! #bcferry #boats #travel #nanaimo #gabriola #family
