Last night's shitshow almost convinced me to move entirely to moderated follow requests and followers-only posting. I'm really sick of fighting entitled, privileged, men¹ who don't understand consent (especially when interacting with vulnerable communities). But then I reread one of Evan's replies which could be (in my words) summed up as "if you don't want to be violated, hide", and, after some crying in the plaza at 5AM, I decided *fuck* that noise. I don't hide. Well-behaved enbies rarely make history and all. ...but... I realized that I need to step away here and there for my own mental health (which I often put secondary to everyone else's). So, with that, I'm putting my phone down for a bit; probably not that long, but for a bit. ¹ InB4: "not all men" — some of my good friends are entitled, privileged, men. #MH #TTYL
