Pondering whether I will be able to manage the Pride march I wanted to go to in Margate in 2.5 weeks (Kent, UK). Being 5.5 weeks post-op and only just up to walking a mile with a mini break halfway outside, I'm a bit worried I might still be overdoing it? As basic info, it was abdominal surgery. Just getting from the station to the starting area is further than I have been going so far, and I'm still pretty slow. Does anyone have experience of the route/event and area that can provide some advice? #Margate #Pride2026 #LGBTQ+
