I follow as many of the projects that are on Mastodon as possible, as they usually mention when new versions are out, and I have a Mastodon "List" for them to keep them separate.
I also use #LibreNMS, and the Linux agent can check apt and show you how many updates there are.
The #NetXMS agent also lists when updates are available.
Of course, this all depends on you installing the software through the package manager :/
