Soft-spoken security old guy. Multi-industry, always infosec, often IT/OT, sometimes physical/personal. I can find a policy, a pentest, or a bulletproof vest that suits your needs. I mostly write like I prefer my coffee - dark, bitter, scalding.

It just occured to me [again] that my effectiveness as a #CISO in #Sweden would be severely diminished, if we had strict enforcement on how only #lawyers can give #legal advice.
Too much of the weight in any #security argument I make has to come from a "or else we break the law", and I suppose stringently I am not formally qualified to make that prediction. I do refer/escalate to Legal, but not all the time.
It must really suck for US CISOs.
