#kidstarver

@selfe.bsky.social Personally, I have ZERO confidence that Burnham will be any better than #KidStarver Starmer in respect of his policies! He’ll present us, the gullible electorate, with a more personable, media-friendly ‘face’, but I’m very sure it’ll be more of the same in terms of both domestic and foreign policy - more austerity, more warmongering, more pandering to the Israel lobby & more demonisation of minorities! #UK #FuckLabour #Burnham

@StingrayBadger@zirk.us @Saying_it_101@mastodon.social @DeclassifiedUK@independent-media.co.uk @uk_politics @palestine@fedibird.com @Palestine@masto.ai @palestine@lemmy.ml @iran My limited understanding of this is that #KidStarver has refused permission for the US to use both Diego Garcia and RAF Fairford in any attacks on Iran. I’ve seen/ heard elsewhere (unsubstantiated) that there are a lot of US aerial refuelling etc planes at Prestwick airport in Glasgow however. We’ll just have to wait & see whether our Mandelson-aligned PM rolls over & lets Trump use Mildenhall or Lakenheath (or others of the 12 “RAF” bases in the UK) instead!
