L’attore, 62 anni, ha raccontato di vivere con tre cani, uno dei quali adottato da un rifugio, e ha spiegato quanto la loro presenza faccia parte della sua quotidianità. L’occasione è stata la première di Heart of the Beast, il nuovo film diretto da David Ayer in cui Pitt interpreta un ex ufficiale delle Forze speciali rimasto bloccato nella natura selvaggia dell’Alaska insieme al suo cane da combattimento, Odin.
Intervistato da Extra, l’attore ha rivelato che alla sua “famiglia” composta da Jacques e Blackout Superstar si è recentemente aggiunto un nuovo membro: “Adesso ne abbiamo tre. Sì, il terzo è adottato”. La domanda partiva dalla convivenza sul set con Uber, il pastore tedesco che interpreta Odin nel film: come hanno reagito i suoi cani quando Pitt è tornato a casa con addosso l’odore del suo coprotagonista a quattro zampe? “I cani sono divertentissimi da questo punto di vista. Non diventano davvero gelosi. Diventano semmai più interessati. È come se ci fosse qualcuno in più alla festa”, ha spiegato l’attore.

Life is more beautiful with a dog. Brad Pitt has no doubts when he talks about his relationship with animals. The 62-year-old actor has spoken about living with three dogs, one of which was adopted from a shelter, and explained how their presence is part of his daily routine. The occasion was the premiere of Heart of the Beast, the new film directed by David Ayer in which Pitt plays an ex-special forces officer stranded in the Alaskan wilderness with his fighting dog, Odin.
Interviewed by Extra, the actor revealed that his “family” consisting of Jacques and Blackout Superstar recently gained a new member: “Now we have three. Yes, the third is adopted.” The question stemmed from the coexistence on set with Uber, the German Shepherd who plays Odin in the film: how did his dogs react when Pitt returned home with the scent of his four-legged co-star on him? “The dogs are hilarious from this point of view. They don’t really become jealous. They simply become more interested. It's as if there is someone extra at the party,” explained the actor.
