The #HindRajabFoundation (HRF) says Israeli far-right Police Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir has canceled his planned visit to New York following legal action it initiated alongside the Center for Constitutional Rights, as well as sustained grassroots pressure from the Palestinian Youth Movement and other advocacy groups.

According to HRF, the organization filed a complaint with the US Department of Justice and co-authored a letter urging New York Attorney General Letitia James to investigate Ben-Gvir over alleged violations of #NewYork State law and crimes involving city residents. The groups also called for an Atrocity Crimes Accountability Task Force to examine alleged atrocity crimes committed by or against New York residents in the Occupied Palestinian Territory.
