#Reform at #KCC have voted last Friday to destroy 100 acres of irreplaceable ancient woodland at Oaken Wood, West Maidstone.
The Kent Mineral Sites Plan passed by a razor-thin 37–33 margin. To force it through, the chair used "special powers" (Reform are funded by greedy millionaires) to completely block a #Green Party amendment to save the site—shutting down debate and a democratic vote.
