AGI - Il giudice sportivo della Lega di Serie A, Gerardo Mastrandrea, ha inflitto una multa di 10mila euro alla Juventus dopo quanto accaduto, prima della gara casalinga contro l'Atalanta, durante il minuto di raccoglimento per ricordare la memoria di Sandro Mazzola.
Le motivazioni del giudice sportivo e l'attenuante
Il giudice ha sanzionato il club bianconero "per non avere, un numero esiguo in percentuale di sostenitori assiepati nel settore tribuna Sud 1° anello, rispettato platealmente il minuto di silenzio disposto dalla FIGC; sanzione attenuata viste la tempestiva formale presa di posizione della società rispetto al suddetto deprecabile comportamento, nonché la dissociazione del resto del pubblico presente allo stadio".
La protesta di una parte del pubblico e la risposta della società
Una parte dei sostenitori della Juventus, infatti, non ha rispettato il minuto di silenzio dando le spalle al campo e intonando cori, un comportamento stigmatizzato con un comunicato ufficiale dalla stessa società a fine partita.

The Judge’s Motivations and Mitigating Factors
The judge sanctioned the black-and-white club “for not having, a negligible percentage of supporters in the South 1st tier ring sector, fully respected the moment of silence ordered by the FIGC; sanction mitigated given the prompt formal position taken by the company regarding the aforementioned unacceptable behavior, as well as the dissociation of the rest of the public present at the stadium.”
The Protest of a Portion of the Public and the Company’s Response
Indeed, a portion of Juventus supporters did not respect the moment of silence by turning their backs on the field and chanting slogans, a behaviour condemned with an official statement from the same company at the end of the match.
