I should add, for anyone who thought “Oh Tom was speaking positively about that show Primal. I should give it a chance.” … It’s absolutely fucked up. Insane gore and violence and cruelty. It is the best thing, and also at times a very challenging thing. I gotta rewatch season 2 cause frankly I struggled through a lot of it despite being very impressed #Primal #GenndyTartakovsky

I’m watching Samurai Jack because I’m very hyped about Primal season 3. Apparently it is released… now? But in typical Australia fashion it’s hard to get a straight answer about nerdy obscure content availability. #Primal #GenndyTartakovsky

So this is Samurai Jack. Specifically season 5. Released in 2017, after the original sasons were released over 2001-2003. It is much harder edged, with Jack fighting off suicidal thoughts and the levels of violence well beyond what the original episodes would have allowed. It is also an incredible work of animation. #SamuraiJack #GenndyTartakovsky
