If the world knew the truth, what would they say?
How would they feel if they knew that engine oil for cars and generators is banned from entering Gaza? That a liter of oil, which used to cost $3, now reaches $1,000—if you can even find it?
A single car tire went from $100 to $3,000—if it’s even available.
Fuel is strictly prohibited, and the few remaining cars after the war only run because organizations and black-market actors sell a portion of their fuel quotas at war-inflated prices.
Even car batteries, spare parts, and energy in all its forms have been banned for over three years. Even phone cables and electrical wires are banned... along with so much more. But to be fair, makeup, Nutella, and Number One energy drinks are allowed in. 😢
Would it bother you, fellow Arabs, to know that students are without school textbooks, hospitals are without medical supplies, patients are without medication, and even diesel isn't enough to run medical facilities and points?
The life you see on your screens is fake, even with all the cosmetics on display...!!
They allowed chocolate, Coca-Cola, cosmetics, and clothes to enter—with coordination fees 20 times higher than before the war. And before any item reaches the people, it has to pass through the thieves of border coordinations, crossings, and unprincipled profiteers who leave their bite marks on every single good.
The problem is that comments from people outside Gaza make it feel like they think we’re fine just because they saw Coca-Cola entering...
People... the issue isn't chocolate or Coke. The issue is that the absolute essentials of life are banned, while luxuries are allowed in.
That way, reality appears "normal" to the world, when it is the furthest thing from normal.
We are truly starving, thirsty, and exhausted to the point of death. Enough is enough.
