It's Friday! Woohoo! First Friday of October, so we thought we'd go for a more autumnal vibe. And a very simple dance, because it's late 😁 As ever have a good weekend, if you possibly can #FridaySparklyDancers #sillyScribbles

It's Friday! Woohoo! Had a slightly busier Friday than anticipated so I am glad to have got to this point. Wasn't quite sure what to do with the dancers, but have been playing Beat Saber this week for the first time in an age, so decided they could join in. As ever have a good weekend, if you possibly can #FridaySparklyDancers #sillyScribbles

Woohoo! It's Friday! Last week we had a Punch Nazis Friday Dance & a repeated comment was, basically, "the punch is good, but I was waiting for the kick in the nadgers too". 😆 This was a good point well made, so my plan this week was to do that. Will be easy-peasy I thought - a bit of a can can dance & we're sorted. But I started a bit late, & it turns out there is a scaling issue with the angle of a can can kick & the sheer size of the fash needed for it to meet said nadgers. So aye. Bit of a failure. TL;DR Didn't have long, could only get the dancers to kick the fash in the head. Soz 😁 #sillyScribbles #FridaySparklyDancers

It's Friday! Woo hoo! I've spent a fair bit of this week Quite Angry at the world, & it *may* have infiltrated into the dancers' routine this week. But I figure that if I want a vision of the future I could imagine a boot stamping on a human face forever, OR I could imagine punching far-right fuckwits in the face & making sparkles. So yeah. I went with that. As ever, have a good weekend, if you possibly can #FridaySparklyDancers #sillyScribbles

It's Friday! Woohoo! Got a bit distracted today, as I wanted to get the sheep into the new (ish) animation software, then I nearly forgot I needed to make them dance. Anyhow, remembered in time. As ever, have a good weekend if you possibly can #FridaySparklyDancers #sillyScribbles

Well today has been the Longest Friday Ever but it's evening & everything sensible has been done & the weekend is here. Woohoo! As ever, have a good one, if you possibly can #FridaySparklyDancers #sillyscribbles

It's Friday!* Woohoo!

It's a bit warm to work out a new dance, so the Friends headed to the seaside, bought themselves a 99 & celebrated the one bit of news that has been causing smiles this week.

• For the record, if you see me arsing about on here on a Friday** & I've not posted the dancers please feel free to point out the day to me*** 😭

** like, for example, this afternoon

*** no, no, I knew it was Friday ALL day, honest

It's Friday! Woohoo! And this Friday has an extra celebration, as this is toot number 15,000 since starting things.uk, and I do love a Big Round Number. 15,000. That is a LOT of nonsense. Thank you to everyone for not just tolerating but actively encouraging it. You are all greatly appreciated, and, as ever, I hope you have a good weekend, if you possibly can #FridaySparklyDancers #sillyScribbles

It's Friday! Woohoo! Today's process...

• Gosh. It's all very melty out there isn't it.

[interrupted by goose]

• Melty like that Dali picture, I should do a Myfanwy & Friend version

[interrupted by goose]

• It needs more eggs.

[interrupted by goose]

• NO! Value is in goose. Needs more goose.

[looks at calendar]

• Oh, I need to do a Friday Dancer

• 💡 !

Anyhow, as ever, have a good weekend if you possibly can

It's Friday! Woohoo! The dancers have a parental unit visiting this weekend so decided, almost unanimously, to do a quick reprise of the star clap dance while on a nice sunny walk, rather than learning a new step. As ever, have a good weekend if you possibly can #sillyScribbles #FridaySparklyDancers

It's Friday! Woohoo! The dancers are a little late & rushed today BUT... it is May Day & 2 ideas were suggested to me by @AmeliasBrain@mstdn.ca :

1. A maypole dance
2. NSync dance moves from "It's Going To Be Me" because of the whole "It's Gonna Be May" meme.

Really wanted to do a full maypole dance but just not enough time this week, so I kind of rammed the 2 ideas together & this happened 🤷‍♀️

As ever, have a good weekend if you possibly can

It's Friday! Woohoo! The dancers had a bit of a crisis today, with the first dance they attempted being slightly beyond their capabilities given the time they had to learn it. They will return to it at some point, I am sure, but in the meantime they're clapping some more sparkles into the world. As ever have a good weekend if you possibly can #sillyScribbles #FridaySparklyDancers #lichenSubscribe

It's FRIDAY! Whoop whoop! The dancers were determined that while the world is at its spikiest they would do their best to make their own sparkles. They were, obviously, less concerned at doing that in the form of a dance. Sometimes a stomp & a clap is all you can manage. So it goes.
