La decisione è giunta dopo l’assemblea tenutasi oggi dalle segreterie dei sindacati Fim, Fiom, Uilm e Usb, congiuntamente alle altre categorie, davanti alla portineria imprese dello stabilimento. “Sia chiaro, non ci fermeremo se non ci saranno soluzioni e misure straordinarie per tutti lavoratori”, ha annunciato il comunicato firmato dalle organizzazioni dei lavoratori. I lavoratori hanno occupato la strada provinciale per Statte in segno di protesta ma è annunciato un blocco stradale anche sulla statale in direzione Bari. La mobilitazione riflette i forti timori per la tenuta dei posti di lavoro dopo la decisione della Corte d’Appello di Milano, che ha imposto la chiusura dell’area a caldo, il cuore della fabbrica, entro il 25 ottobre. Il rischio è il licenziamento collettivo di circa 2.500 operai, legato allo stop imposto dai magistrati meneghini. Domani è previsto a Palazzo Chigi un nuovo tavolo sull’ex Ilva tra governo e sindacati. Fino a ieri, però, non era ancora arrivata alcuna convocazione formale né alle organizzazioni sindacali né ai commissari delle amministrazioni straordinarie di Ilva e Acciaierie d’Italia. Anche oggi, la Cgil conferma il mancato invito: “Abbiamo chiesto al governo di sederci a un tavolo, lo abbiamo fatto, ma non c’è stata risposta sui lavoratori. Ancora non è arrivata la convocazione per domani a palazzo Chigi. La chiusura dell’area a caldo è responsabilità di tutti i governi: il decreto della Corte d’Appello di Milano ha colmato un vuoto della politica”, ha dichiarato Francesco Brigati, segretario generale Fiom Cgil di Taranto, durante il presidio dei lavoratori. “Il tempo è scaduto”, hanno ribadito i sindacati, chiedendo garanzie occupazionali, tutela del reddito e un piano industriale per Taranto.
