Ok, last of the night before I go to my SACD collection. #NowPlaying Etta James ‘Tell Mama’ This is the recent 180g Atlantic 75 pressing, and whoooooooo boy, it’s lovely. Her voice is so intensely compelling. It’s a mono, but it does that depth thing that good mono recordings have. All the instruments are clear, and have space around them. Note, I’m playing it via a stereo cart, out two speakers, so not eeking out the full potential. #RealMusicByRealMusicians #EttaJames
