Two more rare birds reported at the Nature Center, both out of seasonal range, both made the rare bird email list. Osprey - Pandion haliaetus: A large fishing raptor that normally migrates through in spring and fall. Not significantly out of range, but early. Brown Creeper - Certhia americana: A small tree creeper that is one of our winter birds. This is so far out of range, I had to check the sighting to make sure the person was well known and reliable.
