From Meteorologist Chad Crilley on FB: 2:00 PM: As expected strong to severe thunderstorms are developing to our north across San Bernadino County. There will be a brief window for a severe storm or two across Imperial County this evening as forcing from low pressure combines with tropical moisture.
The most likely time for a severe storm will be from 4 PM - 9 PM. The primary concern is for wind gusts to 60 mph and some quarter-sized hail.
I am watching this set up closely.
