When you save a video link, what are you actually saving?
You save a link because something caught your attention. Weeks later, the tab title means nothing, the original post has moved, and you cannot remember the name.
A small habit can make the bookmark more useful: keep the title, credited performer and one short note about why you saved it. A link tells the browser where to go; context tells you why you wanted to return.
That also raises a question for websites: should discovery be the priority, or should it be easier to return to a specific entry? A recommendation feed and a well-organised catalogue solve different problems.
Publisher disclosure: We publish AVporn, a Chinese-language adult video website with individual title pages and performer information. This post contains no explicit media, and it is not an independent review.
What makes you return to a saved page: a recognisable title, a performer name, your own note, or something else?
