@JessTheUnstill@infosec.exchange there was a question like "I sometimes have problems with ABC, true or false?" and i was going to say false, but i had a suspicion, so i asked the examiner to come over, and said, I'm leaving toward false because i ALWAYS have problems with ABC, but maybe they'd want me to write "true", and she was like, i think you should write true.
In hindsight I'm not sure which answer is logically correct, or if it is even possible to answer that unambiguously with only true or false.

Sometimes they're not funny yet, but an invitation to learn about the subject thanks to the volunteers at xkcd explained. To me it seems like there are lots of funny ones, but I prob don't remember the unfunny ones well. And some are sad, or sweet, or just art pieces.

Now that the library does not assign fines for overdue books (it charges you to replace the item after enough time has elapsed) is it breaking a social contract to keep the books past the 3rd automatic renewal?

@michael_w_busch To me this is the real answer. Roll out fiber just like electricity to remote communities, and use fewer satellites for the really remote stations. I get it if you are comparing starlink to better terrestrial infrastructure. (More users for a lower price and less lag than satellite internet of any kind)

Small number of users, how? Does this mean the people needing rural internet access? I guess I'd agree, but it mattered to me when I was out there.
Low latency compared to what? Compared to terrestrial connections, Starlink had really very high latency. Low compared to e.g., Hughes?
Premium -- is this in cost, or number of satellites? Starlink was way cheaper than Hughes for a lot more bandwidth.

When I spent a summer working somewhere where Starlink was the only good option, Starlink was high latency, but also high bandwidth and almost always available. (Before and after Starlink, our best option was cell data with a booster that barely worked.) What does lower-latency, premium, and small number of users refer to?

I would look at what sources her talking points refer to, how they are rated by other scientists, and where they get their funding.

As I understand it from watching Ants Canada, they are quite a bit smaller and very cute! The only problem is I keep getting it confused with Niantic, the location data company that also makes Pokemon Go.
