The CDC has paused testing for rabies and pox viruses. It's vital we keep a close eye on them as rabies is virtually 100% fatal without vaccination, and smallpox killed hundreds of millions (we really don't want a similar virus returning). Losing track of these viruses is a recipe for catastrophe.
