Mr 13 is far braver than I when racing on the track. I dare not go this high on concrete, let alone timber board when racing indoors, for him it's a non event (although a year ago when learning to ride on the"boards" he did admit that he got a bit scared, but that made him cycle faster.)

He also got his first ever "sash" for winning the junior handicap today. Sashes are such an old school "trophy".
