The Central Committee for Moon Sighting, based on information received, requests all citizens to observe the moon in their respective areas; as observing the moon is a religious obligation of the citizens. Therefore, if any citizen observes the moon and presents themselves to the local court and the Moon Sighting Committee to provide testimony, the relevant court will hear their testimony in accordance with religious principles, verify the witnesses, and then share all information with the Central Committee for Moon Sighting.
