The European Parliament adopted Resolution P10_TA(2026)0066 on copyright and generative AI on 10 March 2026.

Three critical issues — but not resolved:

▸ The structural failure of the DSM Directive's opt-out (Art. 4)
▸ Transparency obligations extended to inference and RAG
▸ A regulatory architecture built on voluntary self-discipline

The real test will be the Commission's response.
