In accordance with a decree from the leadership of the Islamic Emirate, 116 prisoners have been released from the Parwan province prison in celebration of Eid al-Adha, and the sentences of several other prisoners have been reduced. The head of the Parwan prison, Mullah Mohammad Ibrahim Haqani, stated that 116 prisoners, including nine women, were released, and the sentences of 226 other prisoners, who were incarcerated for various crimes, were reduced.
