the cognitive dissonance when you hop on Fedi and the timeline is full of "AI users are the Antichrist and we should kill them" (this is only sometimes an exaggeration) and then you go on GitHub and see a PR with a slop description but the author literally just threw together a fix for their own use and then wanted to help by contributing it back
the evil individual AI user probably doesn't exist, it's people trying to get something done and not having in-depth understanding of the tools or the craft or the political issues surrounding it
