I am like this. You have to be more open to expanding your horizons. I’ve found that - at least with streaming services - just passively listening to music similar to That One Song™ will net you lots of good shit. For example: I’m a metalhead, but also enjoy EDM/DnB and the like. By “tuning” my streaming algorithm to those genres, I’ve found bands like Pendulum, The Browning, We Butter The Bread With Butter, and so much more.
