All right, I am completely uninvolved in this discourse, but from watching all of the posts on my timeline, is it just me or do there seem to be two completely different definitions of purity culture going around?

One of them seems to be based on like the culture that gives rise to purity rings and waiting to a marriage and all that

And the other seems to be related to leftist infighting and trying to be perfect
