It's wise to be skeptical of Elon Musk's ambitions such as the proposed Mars mission. I knew Mars trip won't be realized in his lifetime because of the immense complexity involved and the politics of the space race. But exploring other planets or making humanity as a multiplanetary species isn't impossible. I still support astrobiologists in their search for extraterrestrial life, as well as all the scientists driving space exploration forward.
