@not2b @mattblaze sorry, if you can pay thousands to get across the Pacific or Atlantic to get to Yosemite, you can pay a hundred extra bucks to get in. (Also, it’s been a while since I’ve been to Yosemite, but at Yellowstone most of the foreign tourists are coming in on bus tours and are prepaid, so I’m skeptical this really impacts entrance times very much.)
There’s soft power reasons why this might be a bad idea, but it’s not because we’re immiserating anyone.
