#mastodharma Chapter 2 - Inconceivable Skill in Liberative Technique

I see Wallace Shawn embodying Vimalakirti. It is an illusion, so I set it down.

There are places and situations your monk oughtn’t go. That’s where V comes in, (not makes but) is himself at home, and clears the air.

His charisma sets you at ease. You have no clue how or why, but when V is around and after he’s moved on you’re lighter, thoughtful, a better person. Life is better. You can make change for good in yourself and the world around you.

One day you hear V hasn’t been doing so well. When you make time to check in on him, maybe bring him soup, you learn all kinds of folks appreciate him. And it feels right to hang with him and people across communities.

You can’t describe this to your buddies in a way that makes sense. They haven’t met the man yet. So you say “start the poker game without me. I got obligations tonight.”
