I'm horrified that the company policy is to treat human beings as robots and that they have the audacity to have policies in place requiring workers to go back to work like their coworker isn't lying dead on the floor.

I am also horrified that we have conditioned people to comply with those policies. Horrified that the supervisor actually gave the instructions to just look away and get back to work.

And I'm horrified that anyone would prioritize their Amazon warehouse job over rendering medical aid to a coworker. Horrified that the worker would feel compelled to comply instead of shoving the supervisor out of the way.

I'm so disappointed in Americana. I thought the one thing that united us was a "fuck you, make me" attitude when it comes to authority.
