I'm mulling over decommissioning my mailcow server. I've been running it for 2y4m25d and my original plan was to consolidate nearly everything there, but that didn't really quite happen. Instead, I've been centralizing in Fastmail and Proton.

It has actually behaved very well, with no issues in its lifetime. However, I don't feel like it gets the long-term love it deserves (re: OS upgrades & patches beyond what mailcow manages in docker). So for now, I will power off the server for a month or two to keep the IP and then see.
