SciShow has partnered up with Maya Higa, from Alveus Sanctuary, to tell an uncharacteristically long-form[1] story about the 1925 Nome Diptheria outbreak and why the Nome Serum run was so improbable. It also features interviews with Blair Braverman, herself an Iditarod musher, and Dr. Heather Huson, who worked with sled dogs and became an animal genetecist. It tells the story of some of the mushers as well as some very good boys and girls.
