@kubofhromoslav @EUCommission Well the issue is exactly that peace is unachievable from EU initiative. Ukraine certainly doesn't want to be in war, but Russia (its government) does.

Most of us want peace, but it unfortunately seems that can be achieved only if Ukraine would defend its land. Putin clearly stated his intentions multiple times after all.
Hence why "continued support" instead of "de-escalation".
