Of course, I’m learning that less than one month before the workshop, as I wasn’t expecting this to be possible. Sometimes universities offer to help organise childcare (most of the time it’s the workshop/conference organisers who are doing so), but I’ve never heard of the university simply funding childcare for everyone.
