the ultimate goal of the project isn't actually to increase productivity at all, but rather, to remove as many humans from the system as possible. humans have opinions. humans are trouble. in fact this attitude goes back a long way. i remember hearing from a higher-up, in all seriousness, about 15 years ago, the line that "the biggest threat to a company is its employees".
