@sk76 A while back I tooted about being stuck in a small town near Rovaniemi one night in the early 80s when hitching in Lapland. Not sure if I mentioned how the high school kids would load up on food from these carts and "drag main" in their parents' old Volvos and Saabs. Made me laugh to see how similar small town life in Lapland and the American midwest were/are.
