@infobeautiful watching gunsmoke and can confirm. if the person shot grabs their belly they are dead, if they grab their shoulder they're going to be ok in two scenes. of course nobody dies until they have their last words, either an apology or they die mid-sentence leaving the everyone in suspense over who-dunnit.
